Our Experience
Steve Cochrane, who has specialised in vehicle repair since 1989 founded the company in 2009. He qualified as a full time Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) technician in 2004, making him one of the most experienced dent repair specialists in the UK.
Testament to his high level of PDR experience, Steve achieved coveted IMI ‘Master Technician’ status in 2010 achieving 91 points out of an available 92 on the assessment day.
He has also travelled worldwide repairing hail damaged vehicles and continues to hone his craft here in Exeter and the South West.
Sam Yeo is the senior technician at Dent Repair Service. He joined the company in 2016 as a trainee and went through the process of completing the industry leading training offered by TDN in Peterborough. This eventually led to him achieving his IMI accreditation in 2017 and recently re-accredited in 2021.
Sam has worked alongside Steve to ensure that the same level of high quality service and repairs are offered to our clients in both trade and retail. He has enjoyed building a rapport and getting to know these customers and becoming a well respected and trusted PDR technician within the local area. Sam is very excited for his future with the company and is keen to be a part of the improvements to provide a more expansive service.
Josh Baxster joined Dent Repair Service in 2019 as a trainee technician. He completed the TDN paintless dent removal course as well as receiving training out in the field from both Steve and Sam. Josh achieved his IMI accreditation within 12 months of joining the company. Josh has since gone from strength to strength, establishing himself as a well liked and trusted technician. He has built new relationships to add to the existing client base, widening our service area. Josh is always keen to learn and is up to date with the newest products and techniques.
As company we embrace new tools and techniques to further enhance our repair capacity. We also undertake CPD (continuing professional development) through IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) certification and other courses. The most recent being Electric Vehicle Certification enabling us to repair Hybrid and Electric vehicles in a safe and secure manner.
